Hardwood Floors
Southern Yellow Pine Direct offers hardwood floors direct to homeonwers and builders, with no minimum orders. White Oak, Red Oak, Walnut, Hickory and Maple; including tongue and groove floors, beams and more.
White Oak Wide Planks
Hardwood floors are presented differently than pine, there is no 1 x, a 5” is simply 5” Walnut for example. Hardwood floors have more grades, and almost always come in random lengths which means tongue and groove all four sides.
Walnut
The most common for of Walnut is North American Black Walnut. Black Walnut is native to central and eastern North America. It's prized for its dark, strong wood, used for floors, walls, furniture and cabinets. Black Walnut is not as hard as the Oaks, or even Caribbean Heart Pine but the character and dark color provides the ability to cover any damages. Remember all floors dent, ding and finishes scratch. The key is how easy is it to fix them!
