Prefinished Factory or Custom, i.e. man or machine. Have you ever seen a floor where the grain has texture, not flat? Those are custom or by hand finishes because factory or ‘flat-line finishes’ must be planed smooth. Are the edges beveled? You are walking on a factory finish, shadowed or distressed edges indicates custom. New Heart Pine- is not antiqued flooring or reclaimed.
